2771 BH Boskoop
Registered with the Chamber of Commerce Haaglanden #27242676
Description:
Foundation Historisch Educatief Initiatief (Historical Educational Initiative; HEI) researches different aspects of the daily life of people living in different periods in history Among the members of the board there are an archeologist, a historical geographer and a soon to be historian.
The goal of the research done by HEI is not to publish it in books. Instead the foundation aims to share this knowledge with people in a interactive and pleasant way by means of lively and educational shows and demonstrations.
By portraying people from the past they bring history back to life. Authenticity of the historical clothing, accessories and facts used with these activities is of the utmost importance with HEI. This choice for quality over quantity has led to the foundation portraying the Roman era up to the late Middle Ages but not any later. Within this still large timeframe HEI has decided to specialize in the late fifteenth century, but does not exclude other periods.

ReplyDeleteThanks!
no Sane Adams Knights of Valour?
ReplyDeleteShane Adams troupe "Knights of Valour" is listed under Canada and has been for a long time.
DeleteJessica Post (now Jessica St Martin) is no longer with Shane and the Knights of Valour. She has started her own troupe, the Knights of the Rose, based in Ohio. Please see http://theknightsoftherose.com/ for more information. Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteThe Knights of the Rose have been added. Sorry that it took so long; I did not notice the comment until recently.
DeleteWhat about "the jousters" steve cowan and matthew mansour?
ReplyDeleteAlthough troupes who do choreographed jousting shows display a great deal of skill and training, the focus of this website is competitive jousting. So only troupes who have members who joust in competitive tournaments are included. As far as I know, neither Matthew Mansour nor Steve Cowan, nor any members of their troupe compete in competitive tournaments.
